I visited Black Bear Diner recently, and it was easily one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in a long time. The real highlight of the visit was our server, Alyssa. From the moment we sat down, she treated us like regulars. Attentiveness: My coffee mug never even hit the halfway mark before she was there with a fresh refill. Personality: She was incredibly bright, energetic, and had great recommendations when we couldn’t decide between sweet or savory. Efficiency: Despite the diner being packed, she handled her tables with total grace and never made us feel rushed. Black Bear Diner delivers exactly what you want: honest, delicious comfort food. But it’s the staff that makes it worth coming back to. Ask for Alyssa if you want five-star service to match your five-star meal. We will definitely be back!
This was a first time experience for us at Black Bear Diner. We ate at the Burleson Texas location. Our server, Sky was so attentive and gave excellent recommendations. She had a great personality and her service was wonderful. We had breakfast for lunch. I got the sweet cream pancakes, eggs and the thick cut smoked bacon. My husband had the same except with the sweet cream Belgium Waffle. The bacon was exceptional and the pancakes were spot on. Loved the flavor. The waffle was crispy and very tasty. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Large portion sizes and good pricing. All in all our experience was very satisfactory.
I have ordered a few times through DoorDash and the food impressed me so I decided to go in on my birthday. I did not choose wrong! Sky, our server, was incredible! She was on it, before I could ask she was there taking care of everyone at our table as if we were the only people in the restaurant! Guaranteeing my return! The food was unbelievably delicious - if you haven't tried anything and your here for breakfast - go for the blackberry bear claw French toast...it is not what you are expecting. It is a bit savory with a hint of sweetness and some fresh fruit to cut the richness. I highly recommend...grits were great. If you are looking for something more substantial I reccomend any one of their burgers. Juicy and flavorful! Fries are filling...and the price you ask...reasonable! Huge portion sizes and great service, and a fun family atmosphere. 10/10, we will be back

I was warmly greeted at 6 am in the morning. My waitress who had the most amazing & calming morning voice approached. Her name was Alyssa. She is phenomenal at her job. You can tell she has been in the people business. I ordered the Grizz (which has a plethora) of options. Also a water with lemon, A large fresh pressed OJ, and a bottomless coffee. They also offer a military discount which I appreciated being a veteran. All in all she made this experience of me and I left completely satisfied.
